I rarely build a blade for myself. This one is over two years in the making.
I crafted my first billet with my good friend @steelpigforge a couple summers ago. It sat…and sat. Finally I had the opportunity to dig into it and see what we had created.
This will be my personal hunting and adventure blade. 9.5″ OAL random Damascus. 5″ blade length. Hand filed spine with patterns that carry family with me everywhere. Scales are double red roughed out canvas micarta with green G10 liners secured with green and blue G10 pins and carbon fiber tubes.
It was a joyful fulfillment putting the final edge on the blade. It will outlast me and be passed on to future generations.
